Ann Arbor Pride is a vibrant celebration that brings together the lgbtq+Q+ community and its allies in a festive and inclusive environment. After hosting virtual events since 2020 due to the pandemic, the organizers are ecstatic to bring back the in-person festivities. This year's event, titled "Pride in the Park," took place at Wheeler Park on September 11, 2022, from noon to 5 pm. The event featured a delightful mix of fun activities, delicious food, live music, and opportunities for community members to connect and celebrate their identities. Special thanks were given to the YMCA of Ann Arbor for hosting the Kids Zone with their initiative "Y on the Fly." Additionally, attendees were encouraged to take proactive steps in their community by registering to vote and signing up for absentee ballots
